Welcome to New Life MBC
In 1958 Pastor Campbell moved to Flint, Michigan and transferred his church membership
to Mount Olive Baptist Church under the pastorate of Reverend Turpin, where he was very faithful in
doing the Lord's work. While he was a member of Mt Olive, Wilbert married Gertrude Tucker on December 19, 1964. They have two sons, Jeffrey and Stephan. Jeffrey is married to Pam, and they have given them two grand children, Alecia Brielle and Jeffrey Myles. Stephen is married to Kerri and they have one son Stephen Jaeden Campbell.
In 1966 Wilbert transferred his membership to Grace Emmanuel Baptist Church in Flint where the Reverend Lindell Brady was the pastor. Wilbert served on the Deacon Board, Trustee Board, as President of the Usher Board, and was teacher of the Adult Sunday School Class. In 1973 Wilbert Campbell acknowledged his calling from God into the ministry of the Gospel and was ordained and licensed by Pastor Brady and served as one of the Associate Ministers at Grace Emmanuel Baptist Church.
In 1974 Reverend Campbell enrolled in the Mid-Western Theological Seminary in Pontiac, Michigan. He attended Detroit Business College, Mott Community College, and Robert Rock Real Estate Academy.
God has given Pastor Campbell a vision to witness to the lost souls, inviting and encouraging delinquent members to return to Sunday School and Church on Wednesdays and Sundays. He strives to involve each member in the work of the Lord.
The Lord has led Pastor Campbell to be committed to tear down denominational and racial barriers by participating in a "Wall Busting" Fellowship with other congregations on the second Sunday of each month.  Along with the other founding ministers, Pastor Campbell received a "Spirit of Unity" award at the local Martin Luther King Day Service in January 1999 for pioneering this movement. The "Wall Busting" fellowship has grown from two churches in October, 1995 to fifteen churches at our latest meeting in March, 2000.
